I came across this captivating and intriguing Ted Talk by Scott Galloway entitled, “How The US Is Destroying Young People’s Future” and Scott pulls no punches in his assessment of the plight of young people.
I’m not sure how I feel about the whole thing. I am fully aware that young people have a much harder time now but I don’t know if all the blame is on the baby boomer generation. Every generation has their own advantages and disadvantages and I can think of all sorts of social issues in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond 2000.

I’ve written posts about how people with ultra low salaries like that of a janitor, managed to build wealth to the tune of $8 million simply by saving and investing. If a janitor can do it then why can’t everyone else?
If you weren’t aware, there is the story of Mike Black, a millionaire who decided to give up his wealth and start over as a homeless person. Mike discovered it was far more challenging to start from nothing than he anticipated and ultimately ended up terminating the project early.
