My biggest fear in April was weight gain because that’s when Zepbound has “failed” me (see chart below) but the great news is that my new higher dosage helped me maintain my weight. While I didn’t lose weight, I am thrilled that I did not gain any weight either. I literally ate out every single day for a month and had no weight gain! Right as I left for travel, I started 7.5 mg of Zepbound and by the time my travels finished, I was up to 10 mg and it is working great to suppress my appetite.

Right now, I feel the way I did when I first started Zepbound. I feel full after eating even small amounts of food and I often can’t finish a plate of food which is great. I just started on 10 mg this week so I hope by the end of May I will have some weight loss to report so stay tuned for next month’s episode.
Another interesting thing to report is that I had few constipation problems which was another concern for the higher dose. I was eating mostly Asian food rich in vegetables and little proteins so I am considering changing my diet in favor of more Asian cuisine. I rarely ate beans or took Metamucil supplements while I was away so it is making me wonder if American food is really as toxic as some people suggest.
